Joseph Awinongya Jnr is a 13-year-old Ghanaian standout athlete in the world of youth boxing.
Awinongya Jr has become one of the most exciting young boxers of recent years who currently lives in the United States of America but hails from Bongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
His coach and Dad Joseph Awinongya was also a boxer himself but has stopped and is now training his
son.
Jnr has won a total of 13 national boxing titles in the U.S.A.
He won the Silver Gloves National Championship in 2017 and 2018. The St. Louis National Championship, the Junior Olympic National Championship, Wisconsin National Championship and the USA National championship all on multiple occasions.
In recognition of his many achievements, the International Boxing Federation awarded the youngster a congratulatory belt to honor his focus and determination within the sport.
Despite his successes in boxing, the young Ghanaian super-star is also known for his generosity to the needy in society.
He recently received massive praises and blessings from the chief and people of Ashaiman when he donated $500 to the Motherly Love Foundation to help care for children with HIV on September 4, 2020.
He is also an actor best known for his roles in I Am Your Keeper directed by Joel Kapity, Dreams (2013), and Fight in America (2018).
In his free time, he enjoys dancing, shooting hoops and swimming.
